Meet Kelsey: Though she's all the way in Arizona & I haven't seen her since my wedding {which is WAYYY too long by the way!} I love that we're still close & I know without a doubt I could depend on her to be there for me! *Also, I love her new brown hair!*
Meet Alissa: I just got to spend an evening with
her getting frozen yogurt & catching up. She's as
cute as ever & now has a little tiny baby-bump! :)
Meet Natalie & Kelsey: We've been hanging out the
three of us couples a lot the past few weeks & I love it!
Kelsey is my old roommate who's also from Georgia
so we're basically twins! I love how close we've gotten!
And Kels introduced us to Natalie & her husband,
and I just love all of us getting together!
Meet Courtney: She's in Hawaii while her husband finishes school there & I miss her like crazy!! But hopefully we'll get to have her back this Summer!
Meet Ali, Britt & Kat! Though they all actually live in Utah I'm still so lucky to have them as friends, especially since we just decided that tonight we're going to UT for the weekend & I get to see these three! They're all my Rexburg girls & I love that we still stay in touch!
Meet Kate: She & I worked in the housing
Office together at BYU-I & now she lives here!
One day when I was feeling sad because I felt like I
didn't really have friends here, I got a text from her
saying they moved here & that we should get together!
It was perfect timing! She just had a little baby boy so I
haven't seen her much, but I know we'll hang out again soon!
Meet Alyssa: She & I used to play American Girl dolls together in
Connecticut when we were little! Our mom's are good friends &
I haven't seen her in years, but she also just moved here with her husband
& little boy, & though we haven't hung out yet,
I'm dying to see her! She's just the sweetest!
We also {finally} have become social within our ward & I'm lucky to have a bunch of cute young girls in the ward that we're starting to get together with more! It definitely makes a difference in my Sunday when I get to see friendly faces at church!
Anyway, I just feel so loved & wanted to express my gratitude for friendship!

Aren't girl friends the best?! I wish that I was surrounded by as many as you have! While I was reading your blog, I realized that all of my friends are 30-50 year old women here haha! I love them though! Wish that you and I were close to each other. All though you would probably get sick of me because I would want to hang out ALL the time. So happy for you. Also, did you notice that all of your friends are gorgeous?? Are you prejudice against ugly people?
ReplyDeletehahaha Brittany!!! 1. Your 30-50 year old friends (at least the ones I know in the ward) are awesome! 2.I would never/could never get sick of you, & I would want to hang out all the time anyway, so it'd be perfect!!! & 3. I know, all my friends are gorgeous, but I'm not prejudice I swear! I guess it just happened that way some how!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is super cute Kaylie! I remember hanging out at Young Women activities way back when:) I agree with you, a girl just needs her girl friends! It looks like you are so blessed, you have lots of friends! I'm sure the coolest one is Alyssa... ;) But yeah, they are all gorgeous!
