Life

So here's what's going on in life lately...
We're loving the new gym! Jonathan has got a few new clients already just from our sign shakers we hired & just from expanding & living social deals we did. I have a bunch of spray tan clients which I try to just get in before or after work or during my lunch break, so some days are quite busy! But I at least always have to get sprayed myself once a week so I can be a walking advertisement ;) So yeah we're staying super busy with that. In the meantime Jonathan is also studying to take his test to become a loan originator & process loans with his dad's new business venture. I guess it's a REALLY hard test, and only half the people who take it pass the first time around, so it's kind of intense & just adding more busyness to Jonathan's schedule. I just can't wait to get over & only have to work at the gym with Jonathan so I can see him more & not deal with my stupid job! On Monday since I didn't have to work, it being memorial day & all.... I got to train my first 3 clients in the morning! It was great & really boosted my confidence in switching gears to actual work at the gym hopefully one day soon. (By the way if you didn't know, I passed my certification test so I am legitimately a personal trainer!) It was awesome though! I invested in some kickboxing gear to use with the clients & gave them a little twist to their normal workouts with Jonathan by adding some kickboxing drills. Man I've missed kickboxing! It made the workouts with them really fun, & surprising how fast the sessions go by! It'll be a great day when I can just train a few people, do a few spray tans, & be able to call that my job!
My job has basically been hell lately. I pretty much cry about it at least 3 times a week. They've expanded there sales locations by adding two new ones & with each one it doubles my work. So basically I have a full time job that really should be 3 full time jobs (granted my pay is the same...) all on my plate with a million people telling me what to do and in the process contradicting themselves, then somehow I get the blame for things that aren't done right or in time (keep in mind I have 40 hours to get at least 120hours worth of work done!) & I just get to be the cop-out for everyone. Yeah, pretty much I just hate it lately. I've become bitter, grumpy, stressed & just irritated. I've started trying to be more assertive & sticking up for myself as I've developed an "I really don't give a crap" attitude about most of the stuff that happens at work, but at the end of the day I'm still a push-over & put on my nice face on cause I'm too chicken.
Basically the only thing that has been keeping me at this job for the past month has been the possibility of getting another house. Due to the fact that I'd be the one qualifying for it, I need to keep my job. We should find out soon if it's really going to be able to happen or not, so then I will be able to plan & move forward with my life!! It's been a crazy, frustrating, stressful ride, but in the end, if we do end up getting this other house it'll be worth it. If it turns out we won't be able to get it, then I get to quit so it's a win win really!
In other news... our friends Zach & Kelsey just moved into their new home in Nampa, its awesome & I'm so happy for them!
Our good friends Ashley & Garrett Hanselman in Utah just found out their gonna be parents in January so I'm SUPER excited for them!!
Connor has turned 18, won the state championship game in 4A soccer with his high school team, graduated high school AND just went in for his knee surgery today! He's got so much going on it's crazy! And I couldn't be happier that in the fall he'll be closer to us, going to BYU!!
We're only 5 weeks away from our Orlando trip (but who's counting anyways....)
Avery REMEMBERS me! She pointed to a picture I was in and said "Key!" So now I won't have to win over her love again when I see her :)
And there's going to be 3 chick-fil-a's here in the Boise area by the end of this year, HOLLA!
Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. But I just wanted to take a minute to write down the deets of whats going on in this crazy life. That way in a few years I can read back on my blog book & remember everything we were up to at this point in our lives!
Life is good, I just need to remember that. I am blessed, I have the best family, an amazing hardworking husband, the greatest supportive friends, a beautiful home, cars to drive, a job that makes me some money (even when I resent it!), and we are healthy, & happy!

First LAKE Day of the Season!

I have been waiting & waiting & WAITING for this day... & not very patiently I might add... but FINALLY on Monday we were able to head up to the lake with friends & use our new tube we got (since our one from last year basically exploded on us at the end of last season...) It was everything I had hoped it would be & I can't wait to go again on Saturday, & every Saturday after that for the rest of the Summer!!!
 Jake & Alissa
 Super Excited!!
 Hardcore tubing!

Jake just landing a sick trick

 Hubbs doing some sweet wakeboarding!
All you friends & family out there, don't you want to come visit so you can come too!?! Yeah, that's what I thought!!! :)

Race for the Cure

On Saturday Kelsey & I planned on running the Race for the Cure... that plan got a little mixed up when Kelsey wasn't even awake when I showed up at her place in Boise! Haha we got there just in time for when we THOUGHT the race started & found our way there by seeing where there was just a bunch of cars parked (we didn't really plan this out too well... ooops!) When we got to where we thought the race started there was a bunch of walkers already on the move saying stuff like "are we almost at the end?" & "how much longer?" soooo needless to say, we were a little confused. So we just kept walking with people only to realize that was the 1 mile walk, not the 5k run! Yeah we struggled! So anyways we had an eventful morning running & walking part of the 5k & part of the 1 mile walk. It was fun to just get outside in the beautiful morning & get a little exercise with my friend for a great cause!

New Gym!!

So, while I was in Georgia having a relaxing vacation, poor hubby was home working his butt off! He made it his goal to have moved his gym to our new location by the time I got back. And after 4 nights in a row of going to bed after 2am (and waking up for his 5:30am training appointment) & working so diligently, he succeeded! Big thanks to friends & family who helped him move & set things up! He couldn't have done it without you!
Here's a link to our website: www.eagleultimatefitness.com (special thanks to our friend Andrew Matthews for designing our sick logo!)
The new place is way bigger now & was already painted green which was perfect to go with our logo! Jonathan just painted the doors & all of the beadboard white. The place came with nice tile entrance, & bathrooms...Jonathan & his dad also spent many hours putting some plumbing into the extra bathroom that was there to become out shower room! It also already had great nice carpet in there & is just overall a really nice place! We got a bunch more equipment, new shirts, protein, shakercups & drinks for sale. We also got some vynal lettering for all of our windows & door. And my favorite of all: we got a spray tan room! I got an airbrush sprayer & Jonathan set up the perfect room for me & Christina to use! Christina is also renting out the back room from us as her new salon to do hair & eyelash extensions, its gonna be sweet! However it's not done yet so no pictures just yet!
Now for a tour of our new place! I love it & couldn't be more impressed with Jonathan's hard work!
The entrance:
Meet your trainers:
Kids corner:

Shower & changing room:
Shower room, waterfountain, bathroom
spray tan room is the far right door

Free weight & kickboxing area (when I come work at the gym eventually the kickboxing will be my forte!)

Shirts, drinks & protein shakes:
We're so excited about this new place & feel very blessed to have beaten the odds of of small businesses that typically fail within the first year! Yay for Ultimate Fitness! Wish us luck :)

GEORGIA

I just got back from Georgia on Monday & I already miss it like crazy!! I am proud to be from that great & beautiful state, & I will forever say I'm a Georgia girl even if I don't live there! I had the best time with my family & can't wait to see them again in 9 weeks & 2 days for our Orlando trip!!
This is us before saying bye at the Boise airport. Kelsey & I are dumb & didn't take any pictures together but I had so much fun being able to travel with her! (even though she slept a lot!)
Kelsey had some problems on the way their, including having to pay to check her bag, spilling her drink on the first plane, & then spilling her dinner all over herself in the Denver airport 30seconds after purchasing it! BUT regardless we still had a blast, and I introduced her to Friday Night Lights so we got to watch a few episodes together, love it!
We got in at 11pm and Dad & Summer picked me up (they're the official airport picker-uppers!) And then we stayed up late just chatting! I woke up early the next day with the anxiety to see sweet baby Avery & Brittany who had just spent a week in the Hospital :(  Luckily she was back home now & told she needs lots of rest & relaxation so it was the perfect time for me to come & play with her while she didn't have to teach piano lessons!
Avery was a little nervous meeting me at first (she has a short memory cause I was just with her at Christmas time!) Me, Mom & Summer (who got to skip school!) watched her while Brittany had a doctor's appointment and that's when Avery became best friends with her 'Auntie Kakes' (My parents always called me, kakes, or Kaylie-kakes, so that's how Avery knows me now! She even said it once!!) after I bribed her with Jelly Beans!  She even gave me the best little kisses after just a few hours! Then the rest is history! We had a few lunch dates at Chick-fil-a & Panara Bread, (both a MUST if your in the south!) We had our fair share of fun in the sun with the nice HOT Georgia weather, gotta love that humidity! We did a little shopping. Mom & I had a few intense workouts at ATL fitness! We watched our shows, survivor & Once Upon a Time. We had a delicious dinner outside with the fam, with my dad's famous sandwiches & we also enjoyed roasting marshmellows with the firepit on a gorgeous summer night! It was so awesome!!
Connor, Summer & I had our traditional Mario Party game on the old Nintendo64, and we even let Connor's new girlfriend Rachael join us! She's a cutie! I also got to take a few Senior pictures of Connor since supposedly he hates getting pictures done & wouldn't let my mom get them done for real! He's a stud! (Mr. homecoming king, who was also nominated for prom king & his girlfriend for prom queen so we'll find out results this upcoming weekend at prom!!)
I also learned on this trip that I am totally screwed if I have a little girl, because Avery gave me the cutest, saddest little face when I said the jelly beans were gone at church & I have no idea how to tell her no! Ahhh she's so cute!
I just had the best little trip ever & cried quite a bit when Avery told me 'buh-bye!' I love you all & am counting down the days till July 6th!!
Avery gives the best snuggles!

I think she's just the cutest thing in this little chair & her bikinis!!
She loves playing with her little 'shishy' (fishy) in the pool!

That's what she does & says 'stinky' it's hilarious!
Summer  & I lovin the pool!

Avery loves to pick strawberries from 'Lolly's' garden!
Can you spot the bunny!?

Avery loves those marshmellows!

She also loves reading stories!

Her first s'more!

I loved my time here so much! Thanks family for making it super fun, and thanks hubby for letting me come back here so often! And thanks Kelsey for finding the cheap flights & being my travel buddy running through the Denver airport together looking ridiculous trying to catch our flight back to Boise from our first flight being delayed.... good times! In case you're wondering, we did make it! And we are safe & sound back to reality......
