Family Vacation!

Well another successful Annual Cushman Family Vacation has come & gone! I was so excited to get into Atlanta to spend a week with the fam! And after a miserable 13hour day of traveling with 2 layovers we were so ready for this vacation to get started!
This year we went to Orlando instead of our normal beach spot so the vacation was a little different than our normal happenings, but the best part was us all just being able to be together!
We stayed in a cool house that had it's own pool, a game room, and was right across the street from the clubhouse.  We swam and got our sun on almost everyday (at least until noon, then the rain clouds seemed to roll in).  We had a great time at night partying and playing Foosball, air hockey, pool, and scum on the pool table, and playing Mafia, it was so fun!

The boys had a few volleyball tournaments at the sand volleyball courts:

I got to spend quality time with my most favorite little person!!
\
And we even had our very own pool cleaner!
Mom made me her now famous strawberry lemonade cake to celebrate my birthday!
Since we were in Orlando, which happens to be an even distance from Tampa, FL where my Grandpa lives, and Stuart, FL where my Grandma lives, they got to make a visit for a day and see us all!

Jonathan got to meet Grandpa for the first time ever! I love seeing him with his great-granddaughter!
We also made a trip to the most uniqe McDonald's in the world! It's actually pretty cool! They have all the normal foods, but they also have all sorts of other food items they use to test market here! Plus they have a large arcade in the upstairs. For a rainy afternoon in Florida this was actually a pretty fun activity!

(we all feel like this picture should be in an advertisement! I think it's hilarious!)

We were also able to enjoy a day at the beach in Tampa. Dad had to do some work there so we decided to make a day trip out of it and enjoy a beach day :)

4th of July!

For the fourth we decided to go shooting with the Eldredge side, then head over to Grampa&Grandma Eldredge's in Ontario for the big family get together. It was so fun as always!

 Love this little cousin!

 Jonathan indulging in some PIE!

Hope everyone had an awesome 4th! We sure did!

More birthday celebrations!

Saturday after my birthday we followed in the past two years tradition of going to the lake of course!

(I didn't know Kelsey was taking this picture! But it turned out kinda cool)

It was all fun & games until Kelsey got knocked out by the rope, scary! But she was ok!
Then we all decided to go to Texas roadhouse for dinner.... little did I know they told the waiter it was for my birthday and they made me do this!:
\
Super embarrassing....

But it was a GREAT day and I love that my friends wanted to make it special for me!

A few days later before we were going to go on our family trip, Kelsey came over & I gave her an early birthday present since her big 21 day would be while we were gone:

LOVE this girl! Lucky to have her as a friend!

Twenty-Two!

My birthday was a pretty awesome day I must say! I woke up early cause I couldn't sleep well just cause I was so excited for the day! (I know that sounds like a little kid on Christmas eve, but seriously that's how I felt!) Jonathan got to come home on an hour break he had in between appointments and he made me my most favorite breakfast! Yum:
Then he let me have my present from him! He made me close my eyes, then he brought out this beauty:
I LOVE IT! It's a sweet road bike he got me to support my new goal of doing triathalons! What a guy!

After the great morning to start my day, I went to Massage Envy where I had a gift card for an hour massage from my in-laws. I LOVE getting massages, so that was another perfect part of my day!

Then, my sweet friend Kelsey, is the best, cause she took a half day off of work to take me out to lunch at one of my favs (Cafe Rio) and then to get pedicures! What a great friend, right!?

After that fun part of the day, I met up with Jonathan again who was able to take the rest of the day off as well and take me to Roaring Springs Water Park! It was pretty crowded, but I'm still so glad we went and got some to have some fun in the sun together!

We then were starving and went to get some PIZZA! That was a nice treat! Then we came back home and messed around with my bike!

To have the perfect ending to the perfect day I treated myself to a Kaylie-Fun-Drink and then crashed after the best 22nd birthday I've ever had!
And to quote my little brother: "It was a good day...."

Unemployed :)

I've officially been unemployed for two weeks now, and I've got to say it's been amazing! I get so much done around the house, and shopping and get to spend more time excerising and trying to eat better too. I even joined the YMCA (yes I now have TWO gym memberships & I OWN a gym....) but now I get to go there and swim laps which I've missed badly! My goal is to start doing little triathalons!
I've done fun house projects & love just staying up on all the laundry & dishes and such without it piling up! I've been doing a few swim lessons which I love, and I have one personal training client, and one kickboxing client so far that has just been so much fun to work with and to just be working at our gym! I stay pretty busy with spray tans which is great and I just have time to do random errands that I never had time for before!

We've had a few more lake trips of course the past few weeks:

Sweet Christina took me out for a little lunch date to celebrate my birthday early since they were going to be out of town, and then she did my hair! She was so nice to do that for me!
Our celebratory fun drinks!
We've had some good family time, and got to enjoy a suprise visit from Natalie!

Jonathan and I also got to babysit his 3 little boy cousins one night which was so fun, I just love those kids!  We also have been going on walks, hanging out with good friends, and just enjoying the sweet summertime! Basically, my days now are so stress-free and I'm so much happier! I feel like everyday is a vacation which is a pretty good feeling!
