It all started when our college roomie Dana commented on my instagram post about the idea of a baby-moon with Kelsey visiting her in Hawaii (her husband is going to BYU-H) when we figured flights would be about $500 and we had a free place to stay, we just had to make it happen! Soooooo Kels and I met at the HNL airport after our 6ish hour flights (don't worry, I made sure to walk a lot and totally avoided swelling! Plus it was so nice to just fly by myself, watch movies and rest!)
We landed and were greeted by cute Dana with Laies for us! She was the sweetest host!
We stopped at a Target for a few food items and such and made our way towards the North Shore where Dana's apartment was.
She had the cutest gifts for our babes all set up in their room which they insisted us two preggers take and just made us so comfortable in their tiny place as a family of four (which btw their little girl Bentley totally made me Hallie hungry cause I swear they're the same person!)
We spent the next day at Dana's favorite beach spot and enjoyed some fresh fruit and coconut from the local fruit stand. It was a beautiful afternoon getting our tan on, relaxing, reading, swimming, napping!
The next day we saw sea turtles, and got shaved ice, we shopped around a little bit and got yummy food!
We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for an amazing meal and show and had a blast!
We also did some paddleboarding, in basically a storm, while pregnant, it was SO hard and exhausting but also so super cool!
On our last day the flight didn't leave until later in the day so Kelsey and I went to the Dole plantation for a little while and spent some time in Honolulu and at Waikiki beach which was a cool experience.
I had a great tripe but was excited to go home to my man and my little girl cause they're my favorite :)
