As kinda a last minute idea, Natalie wanted to do something for her spring break, we found cheap flights to LA and decided to go for 4 days and it was a blast!
Hallie loved traveling with her aunties!
The first day the weather was a little windy/cold but we walked around and explored Crystal Cove area around Newport Beach (Hal made sure to bring all her "friends" lol) and Crew who happened to be in town visiting a friend, was able to meet up with us!
We worked out and hung out at our Air Bnb rental then the next day, Jonathan Hallie and I got to go to Disney!! (Christina and Natalie went off to LA for the market there)
But we had so much fun as our little family explored the kid rides and loved seeing Disneyland through the magic in Hallie's eyes! She was in love, and so excited for everything! She got a little scared on some of the rides but she was like the perfect age to enjoy everything. She was SOOO excited to meet Mickey and it honestly was just the sweetest thing in the world her finding him and hugging him, she wouldn't let go and just had the biggest smile ever on her face, and even talked about it for months afterwards!
Hallie was a little more timid to meet the other characters but was still excited to tell everyone about it afterwards
We then were lucky enough to have our long lost friends Ryan and Courtney Nauahi (who live in LA now) meet up with us to enjoy the last half of the day in Disney. It was so fun to get to catch up with them and show us the best way to enjoy Disneyland since theyre pro's! After not wanting to push hallie too much past her breaking point, we met christina and natalie at the downtown disney area where they took Hal for the night while us adults enjoyed some of the big kid rides!
It was a great day!
We spent the following day down in Dana Pointe where we met up with Jonathan's Aunt/Cousin?? on his moms side haha we went whale watching which would have been fantastic if I didn't get so sea sick (so I took a nice nap on the boat with some dramamine) but everyone else got a good view of a few whales and a bunch of dolphins!
After that we enjoyed a nice italian dinner and walk around Huntington Beach exploring the pier and getting some gelato
We loved Huntington so much that we came back to spend our last morning there before our flight and lucked out with the perfect beach day!
Such a fun quick trip, we can't wait to go back!
