Grand Opening

Monday September 30th was the big Grand Opening day for Middleton Fitness Center! I was so proud of my hubby for all his hard work and really making this come together so quickly! It truly was meant to be the way it all worked out. The timing to me was not ideal, but I know it all happened for a reason. We found out weeks later after opening that someone else was negotiating the lease at the same time Jonathan was to try and put a gym in as well, and Jonathan happened to beat him to the deal! Pretty crazy... Opening night was a huge success, and better than anticipated. I left Hallie for the first time (for like 45 minutes) with my mom to go be there for the ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce. (I felt so weird without my baby...I'd just carried her for 9 months, and given birth 6 days ago and suddenly I was just 1 human being, not attached to a baby in some way or another, weird feeling!) But it was so great to be able to support Jonathan for a little bit and see all of his hard work pay off!
