We got in a half hour earlier than expected, at 8:30 PM on Christmas Eve & then the party began!!
When we got to the house everyone was making yummy sugar cookies:
& watching Avery play with her best friend, Mr. Teddy! (She always gives him hugs & its so cute!!)
We then opened sibling gifts from our secret santa sibling (although its never actually a secret...) Jordan had me & got me these cute things! I also had Jordan and got him the hoodie he's wearing!
Ryan had Jonathan & got him the sick hoodie he has on, he loves it!
& Jonathan had Connor & I ....(I mean JONATHAN ;) ) got him the sweater he has on!

We also got to open jammies from mom&dad, and all of us girls got matching ones!
I must also add that my mom did an awesome job decorating the house! They got a brand new super tall tree that looks awesome!!
On Christmas morning we had church at nine, so all other festivities had to wait until after. I actually really enjoyed it that way though because it meant we got to first celebrate Christmas for the real reason why we should celebrate! Plus it was a great feeling to see old family friends on such a festive Christmas Sunday morning!
Avery is going through a phase where she doesn't like boys that she doesn't know/recognize, so Jonathan was a little heartbroken when she kept crying when he would try to hold her or play with her. However, I think as the week went on she got more comfortable with him & I was able to grab a few pictures of these cuties together before she would start her fake cry! :)
It was awesome to watch Avery open presents! Although she doesn't really know how to open them, she loved seeing what was inside! She's obsessed with puppies right now, so she absolutely loved her walking, barking stuffed animal puppy, it was so cute!
Connor asked for a guitar for Christmas so he can "woo the ladies!" haha hopefully he can teach himself how to play before college comes along!
After the present opening, Jonathan & I made a big brunch for everyone & somewhere in the process Connor was offered $150 bucks to drink the sausage/bacon grease (BARF!) & he did...
He decided to mix it with cold orange juice!
Then it got all clumpy....
Gross! But Dad had to pay up!!! :)
We then spent the rest of the day playing lots of games & just enjoying our time together!
