Halloween 2015

We got in the spirit of Hal's costume by watching Tinkerbell
And Jonathan was insistent about all dressing up together lol, so he was Peter Pan rocking those green tights, I was Wendy Darling and of course our little Tinkerbell loved those wings and pretending to fly around!
We had the fam over for my annual chili and cornbread then went around the block to enjoy some trick-or-treating. Hallie was in heaven and kept asking for dayssssss after to go get candy at the neighbors houses haha!

Farmstead with Pop

We lucked out and got to have Pop come again for a quick visit. We went to check out the Farmstead for some fun fall activities that Hal loved! (Plus all the attention from Pop ;)

After our fun at the farm we enjoyed a great dinner at The Matador then had to say bye to Pop. It was such a fun weekend having him there! (AND I don't need my crutches anymore! Yay!)

Kelsey's Wedding

Jonathan and I made our way down to Utah for the weekend for Kelsey and Kody's big day! Hallie was able to stay at J's parents which was nice cause I was no help being crippled and J was just trying to help me out best he could! But we made the drive and stayed at our friends Kat and Andrew. I threw a Bachelorette Lunch party for Kels and the bridesmaids which was fun:

Later in the evening they had their rehearsal dinner which was just beautiful and so fun to be apart of.
Then the next morning was the temple sealing! So happy for those two!

It was such a beautiful day and beautiful reception and it was so much fun to get to catch up with old friends too! Congrats to the Bradford's!

Broken Foot

So, remember how much fun I was having with flag football? Well that all came to an end when I broke my foot running with the ball in a game :(  I don't even really know how it happened, I just had the ball, was trying to juke an opponent out and planted my foot wrong I guess and heard a snap! I had to be carried off the field and drove home with my left foot which was weird haha and was just crying in so much pain. Hallie was so sweet and concerned and J loaded me up on tons of ibuprofen and ice. I made it through a miserable night of 'sleep' waking up in pain and was never able to put any weight at all on it. Then in the morning I had a massage scheduled so I went and saw Tera just to see if she thought it was just a sprain or what and she thought it was pretty bad so I then went to the dr. Did some x-rays and wouldn't ya know, I had a metatarsal fracture in the bone that connects to my middle toe. Good times.

Jonathan's 29th Birthday

We got to have such a fun weekend getaway to celebrate Jonathan's birthday! We went to Jackpot, NV and had a little golfing adventure with Caden & Christina.

We then had so much fun gambling the night away and eating lots of good food! Sure love my guy and am lucky to have him!

Gotta love this ride or die group!

We then came home on Sunday and had a little celebration with the whole fam, this time Hal got to help blow out the candles ;)

Beckett Gray

Remember my friend Rachael that I threw a shower for, well she had her little baby Beckett, born end of September and within just a few short weeks they had already noticed signs of heart failure. They were so glad they knew what to look for because it would have been all too easy for them to have lost him if they weren't aware of his symptoms. They spent wayyyyyy too many weeks in the hospital waiting for a miracle of only one surgeon in the entire US approving their situation to operate on Beckett. No one else would because he was too tiny. Finally after long weeks and dealings with insurance they were finally able to be medically flown to a hospital in San Francisco where that doctor operates and get him in for open heart surgery. He really is a little miracle baby and has recovered well! So happy things have turned out for their sweet family. They still have a long road with endless doctors appointments and even future surgeries, but its amazing that he was such a fighter through all of this so early on!
