Makin our trek across the country, never a fun time especially during the holidays, BUT this girl was great and we can't complain!
SOOOO excited we finally saw Connor in real life! We're so glad he's back!
Shortly after getting into Atlanta, we make the drive down to a Florida beach house for a few days, we were so excited to party all together!!!
Enjoying a sunny day on the beach!
And even with 65degrees outside, we couldn't keep our crazy girl out of the water hahah!
And celebrating this cute niece's FIFTH birthday!! Can't believe she's so big already!
Brittany always does a cute job with birthdays!
Enjoying more sunshine:
and snuggles with Lolly!
And SWIMMING in DECEMBER!
Of course we made a trip to the Sugar Shack!
And got some cute pictures of all these cousins :)
It was a great little beach trip, with crazy cousin time during the day and grown up game playing by night! (and trying to get Connor back to the reality of our crazy family lol) It was all a lot of fun until we freaking lost our kid! Hallie was kind of at a stinker age where she would kinda wander off from playing with the other kiddos and after I had checked on her a couple of times, I asked J to check and he was like 'She's fine' .... when I then have my turn again I can't find my Hallie ANYWHERE! As I was running around the house and then finally out the front door yelling for her, I see this kind couple walking up to the house with Hallie in a stroller! They go, is she your kid? uh, YESSSS praise the lord! I was crying tears of joy that they found Hallie, literally walking down the middle of the street pushing a stroller (making her way towards the beach, cause she was mad at us earlier for making her leave) I asked how they knew to come looking this way (cause she was like a solid 1/4 away!!) They said, they just assumed she had been walking in just one direction (and not turned off a smaller road) and then looked at the stroller and saw the ATL travel tags so were just looking for Atlanta license plates... seriously a miracle, she didn't get hit by a car, or kidnapped! I was so worried the entire rest of the trip, but just so glad we got our girl back, literally scariest moment of my life!
After the beach trip we got back to my mom's/Ryan and Brittany's place and had a fun Christmas Eve together. The kiddos were WILD so these jammies were very fitting! LOL We also attempted a little Nativity which was kind of hilarious but also sweet! Did I mention that my grandpa was able to join us for Christmas too? It was sweet to see all the great-grandkids gathered around listening to him read a Christmas story to them.

Christmas morning was spent back at Lolly's house, it was so much fun to see all the littles so excited opening gifts. We had a fun day playing with new toys and just relaxing. Jonathan surprised me with an all inclusive trip to JAMAICA in February, so that was a very exciting gift!!
The day after Christmas was so crazy warm, 73 degrees! So we pretended it was Summetime and spent the afternoon at the lake for the kiddos to play in the sand and run around :)
The next few days were spent playing, trips to Atlanta Fitness, eating at our favorites, and visits with Gigi who came to town to see everyone. We also made a trip up to Chattanooga, Tennessee for the day enjoying a walk accross the beautiful bride, playing in the park, out to eat and ending with ice cream.
Had to capture a few pictures (even though Hal wouldn't really cooperate) with my Grandma since we rarely get to see her in Florida
New Years Eve was spent creating a little (early) party consisting of cupcakes and singing "Happy Birthday to the New Year" lol sparkling cider, and a pinata for fun!
Then my mom was sweet and stayed at the house with the sleeping kiddos while us Cushman couples had a game night with the Wernli couples for a little family fued games and party! It was a great night!
The next day, after a long Georgia trip and lots of fun with family all together, we were ready for our flights back home :)
