Tree GONE

A few months ago we decided to invest in getting our abnormally huge Willow Tree in our front yard removed! It was a little bit of an expensive job, but totally worth it! Know I get to see what my house looks like! Voila!

San Fran :)

For labor day weekend we decided to make the trip to San Fran to visit Jordan & Brooke! I'm so glad we were able to to it, we had a blast!

On our way (during the 13hour drive....) we stopped in Reno, and it was actually pretty fun cause they were doing a big BBQ fest! So we got sonme yummy food for the rest of the drive.
On our first day there we went to a big Farmer's Market right near the Alcatraz lookout and did a lot of touristy things in the beautiful town!
We then went to the Golden Gate Park and even though the paddleboats were technically closing, we convinced the worker to let us go out for a little ride (yes we almost sunk the boat...haha)
Excuse my grossness here, I unfortunetly had a nasty cold the whole weekend there but I had to tough it out! I wasn't gonna miss out on my first time in San Francisco!
It was so beautiful!
The four of us :)
We then made a quick swing by at the epic Golden Gate picture taking spot and grabbed a few good shots! This one turned out pretty cool!

After a relaxing night back at J&B's cute townhouse (We watched 'The Lucky One')  the next morning we got to have the full tour of GOOGLE! I was so excited to see Jordan's sweet workplace:
Jordan forgot I'm an Eldredge now so I got to be a Cushman for another day according to Google at least

This thing was pretty cool, it basically is a huge google maps thing & you can zoom in and look up different addresses or places like disney world and see all the details like you're really there!
Google has its own bowling alley also, pretty sweet!
We got to take the google bikes all around the campus and see all the fun amenities outside:
A googlemaps car:
The Android building:
After the fun Google tour we made the drive to Santa Cruz for a little beach action:
It was a very fun day, and a true vacation when you can layout in the sun!
Cute Brooke & Jordan! Can't wait for their little baby to join the family in February!
Thanks guys for being the best tour guides! So glad we could spend time with ya!

Connor Goes to BYU!

In late August Connor and my mom flew out to Utah to take Connor to BYU. I decided to drive down there for the weekend to spend time with both of them & I'm so glad I did. We had so much fun together just getting Connor ready for school and having some play time too of course!
In Provo we got to meet up with Crew & Natalie which was so good! We went to Texas Roadhouse with them:

On Saturday when we didn't have any plans we decided to make a little vacation out of the trip and spent the afternoon at the Roy pool!

Then mom took us to one of the drive-in restaurants she went to as a kid where they have the best shakes! Kirt's:

It was fun to see where Mom spent some of her childhood! That night we also went to see the Bourne Legacy movie together. Mom & I were bugging Connor with questions cause we couldn't understand it! haha!

It was so fun getting Connor set up in his dorm and meeting his roommate. Pretty weird that my little brother is in COLLEGE!

Roomies ;)

It was a great trip being able to spend time with both of them! And I'm excited that I get to be closer to Connor!

Jonathan hikes Mt. Borah

A couple weeks ago Jonathan went with his dad and uncles on a trip to central idaho where they went to climb Mt. Borah. They drove there on Sunday and camped at the base of the mountian then spent the whole day Monday hiking up, and then back down of course. The peak goes up to 13,000ft in elevation, and Jonathan made it all the way to the top! He said it was super hard, and he camp home covered in dirt and exhausted! But he also said it was a good {one time} experience!

I put Jonathan in charge of taking some pictures, however, this is all I got! haha Doesn't give much of an idea of how things went but I'm glad he was able to have a good experience!

However, this picture I found online can paint a little picture of what part of the hike was like... yikes!!
